Two New Mexico homebuilding leaders landed on Professional Builders’ 40 Under 40 list.
Professional Builders, a national trade magazine, recently published its list that included Jamie Rayne, vice president at Bain Cochran Construction, and Quint Lears, sales consultant for Hakes Brothers Homes.
The Professional Builders list is the latest accolade for Rayne, who is a previous Albuquerque Business First Women of Influence honoree and a 40 under Forty honoree.
Last year, Rayne told Business First her greatest professional achievement was being elected president of the Home Builders Association of Central New Mexico in late 2015.
"I am the youngest and first female since 1998 to have held this position," she said to ABF. "As president, the confidence bestowed in me by membership to choose the board of directors and to address the changing needs of our industry, all while continuing efforts to remove remaining silos between builders, remodelers and associates. To create unity and strengthen our industry is absolutely one of my greatest professional achievements."
Bain Cochran Construction is on several of Business First’s Lists, including General Contractors, Family-owned Businesses and New Mexico Women-owned Businesses.
The company reported $1 million in 2016 gross billings.
